KELLY. - Helen. Life Saving Victoria with great sadness acknowledges the passing of our lifesaver Helen Kelly. Helen joined the lifesaving movement in the 1960s as a member of Chelsea Life Saving Club culminating as Club President. Her distinguished volunteer service has been recognised with Life Membership of Chelsea Longbeach Surf Life Saving Club, Royal Life Saving Society Australia, Victoria Branch and Life Saving Victoria. Our deepest sympathy is extended to all family members and fellow lifesavers.

Helen made a huge impact on me and my family in such a positive & inviting way into the club. She was a strong & inspirational person. I wish to pass on my condolences to all her friends and family. Rest In Peace Helen Kelly.

How terribly sad I was to read of Helen's passing. We spent a lot of time at Junior Carnivals and meetings together. Her family and the members of Chelsea Longbeach LSC are in my thoughts.

I have only just found out of Helen's passing. I attended the Alfred with Helen over 10 years ago and took my kids up to Yea to see her running in the 2000 Olympics Torch Relay. Recently I lost my husband so I can understand how the passing of someone in our lives or past makes us all reflect on the future. I am sure Helen is now in a peaceful place overlooking the bay. My belated condolences, Alison Kain.
